 | IMPORT LIBRARY 3D TO HAVE ALL LAYERS hello everybody,
How do you use on cycads libraries / 3D objects exported from a blender, 3dsmax ... I have a car (doors, flowers ...) in 3D fichier.3ds but Cycas do not refund me all layers but the joints in a single layer and it becomes very tedious to apply materials / textures. Here is a link free of bookstores 3D

salut a tous,

 | Re: IMPORT LIBRARY 3D TO HAVE ALL LAYERS Hello.
Sometimes you get different parts of a 3d draw, although they are all in a layer. It's not easy adding different textures, so it's possible. |

 | Re: IMPORT LIBRARY 3D TO HAVE ALL LAYERS hello,
Another low (...) Cycas is the import of 3D models do not render layers.
When I imported 3D models and bookstores (www.archives3d.net ...) on Wings 3D (www.wings3d.com), it recognizes and restores the layers.
Cycas developers must see this problem and if possible it works on version 4.0 Cycas

 | Re: IMPORT LIBRARY 3D TO HAVE ALL LAYERS Importing and exporting is always a pain, under every sw. As a suggestion the best way is to export subset of the object based on some kind of useful reason. ie export separately all the objects with the same texture or all the objects with the same layer. Combining them separately will be easiest than dividing a whole comprehensive set.
