Hi ,

East - it can create a script for Blender that can import the files. Cys Cycas on Blender?
Because there are scripts import / export for Blender:
- 3ds
- DXF
- DWG
- Wings3D
- etc. ....

you can export 3ds from cycas and then import to blender

it is good to export/import one part at a time...first the walls, then the roof, etc

that way it is easy to put the different parts in their own layers in blender

How do you imported in Blender different .3 ds files that you exported in Cycas?
For example if a floor has 2 levels, how are you managing the superposition of floors, 3D model ... with different layers.

Just out of curiosity, does anybody know if, using the above mentioned methods its possible to produce a good enough DWG model for RS Means SmartBIM QTO system. It's very Autocad centric, so maybe not, but MAN what a time saver automated QTOs would be!
