Has anyone experimented much with moving 3d data from blender to cycas?

If I´m building something in Cycas I sometimes export to blender (3ds) to help with visualisation. As the project develops, I replace objects in Blender with the updated versions from Cycas. Then I might do some editing in Blender and shift that object back to Cycas.

If I use 3ds, when Cycas opens the object, all edges are welded together and cannot be edited. So I use dxf instead. Of course a solid imported like this appears in Cycas to be made up of triangular planes which is not ideal.

There is a new python dxf exporter script for blender which has great features but...Cycas won´t import these dxfs  Sad

Does anyone have any light to shed??

This has kindly been fixed now, by migius, the writer of the script:

So now import/export between blender and cycas works very nicely Smiley
