If we export from cycas a drawing with several layers (more than 2), cycas always puts all layers to one layer. E.g. cycas has the layers "layer 0, layer 1, layer 2, layer 3". The exported DXF has always the layers named "101 - 108" without the word "layer", which are between "layer 102" and "layer 111", but only the layer 101 contains information, i.e. all parts of the 4 cycas layers "layer 0, layer 1, layer 2, layer 3". That doesn't depend on the way of export (entire drawing, visible objects etc.). For this project, it's very important to export to DXF about 60 separated layers. How can we manage this?

Hello.

You can export several times different layers, saving them as various draws, and later import them to one draw, each exported draw to a different layer.

Es ist schwer aber es funktioniert in Ordnung.

Hello xluis,

Thank you for the answer. We planned to do so if there is no other solution. In our case, there are in these plans about 60 layers. It would be nice if the dxf import and export would be improved at the next version of Cycas, or if there were even possibilities to import and export dwg and/or dwf files, not necessarily the newest versions, but clearely defined and named ones!  Cool

Yours
