When I look at the gallery, I seen some very very beautiful renders, but I am not sure how they got them out of cycas. Did they use radiosity or raytracing? When I use radiosity, it looks nice but there are circles in the shading ( I will post a picture later).

I also think ray tracing looks good, but then every thing is very flat looking. Especially when of the same materials are next to each other. I will render some images and upload them tonight.

What type of render setups do you use?? Lighting, materials, etc...

Hi, I´ve experienced the same problem with radiosity but diddn´t investigate a lot, I only make prototype renderings, anyway here´s an example of the problem

about the settings I always begin with the 3 light setup...sometimes is too mutch...
