in few weeks I want to upgrade my computer, does the latest version of CYCAS work under Windows 7? Thanks!

If I did understand well win 7 starts a kind of Virtual Machine per appication for backward compatibility, so I think you have to tell the app to run in compatibility mode (as on winxp I suppose).
take this with care as my win knowledge is little then linux´s one.
best suggest is to take a try on another pc.

I tried Cycas Public in Win7, and I had no problems. I think it used Compatibility Mode by default (it shows a little shield on the desktop shortcut ).
I didn´t even try POVRay, but I tested it on a 3M 17" touchscreen; maybe someday I´ll give it a deeper try and post some comments about it.
