Preferences / settings

Hello
I´m missing some features that might be handy for other users too.
1. Save all settings together in a preferences set (*.prefs).
- line type , colour
- active and visible layers
- layer names, order
- printer settings
- scale
- etc.
Preferences selection is saved with a drawing and preferences will be loaded with the drawing every time I open it. So all changes to the preferences file are included in all my drawings with one specific set of preferences assigned.
Another option for this feature might be to make preferences file for the different objects (layers, pens, fillings etc.) with the possibility to combine those files to a "superset" of preferences and assign this "superset" to a drawing.
2. More pens or customisable number of pens.
3. Scales can be set and saved per layer independant of default scale.
4. Rename layers, change order in one drawing and load these settings in another drawing.
5. Display under the properties of an object (right click) the name of a layer instead of the number or customisable option.
6. Resize the layers window (and other dialogs) and make this setting permanent.
7. Make the selection properties permanent. For example, I prefer to select an area instead of single elements when deleting or moving objects.
8. Change the order of objects in one layer. e.g. bring to front or send to back.
Regards

My preferences are, and in this order:
2. More pens
5. Display layer´s name
7. Make the selection properties permanent. And that could be set individually for each tool.
I think point 6, Resize the layers window, will be solved with Qt4.
